background color
Sunday, February 26, 2012 by yokutstormy | Discussion: WindowBlinds
I'm sure this question has been ask before but i can not find the answer i'm looking for.
I'm usually a dark and gothic kind of gal but i have found that the background colors are sometimes too dark for Outlook. How do i go about changing the background color so that the new mail is not written on such dark backgrounds.
Thanks
Stormy

Might be able to change it within WBConfig (where you choose your WB theme) too, I'm not sure about Outlook specifically though. Have a look at these two threads:

I'd guess "SystemColour: Window".
Do make a copy of your WB skin before you start playing so if all else fails you can start all over again.

You have to do it in skinstudio. On the left hand side of SKS -- Backgrounds/Edit explorer background bitmaps/explorer backgrounds Edit the very top one "active window. You can use a 10x10 px, 100x100 px if you wish to see it better when making it. This will change the left hand side.
I think you really only have to do the right hand side for what you are looking for. Open skinstudio. Edit Explorer & IE Shell Parts open that and click on Edit Vista & 7 Explorer Parts then go to Folders Bar. Look for the tab Extra settings tab and and click on it you will see Bacjground color(win7) On the right you will see a color drop down menu. Open it and pick you color.
