I do apologise Neil, I was rather tired. I have mistaken this thread for the Fences 2.0 thread. But now that you've read it perhaps you can take it on board ?

There is just one tiny flaw.  I am not directly involved in Fences development!

RnD has been called lots of things, but a tiny flaw isn't one of them.

Hi everyone,

I have some bugs would like to post here see if anyone experiencing the same issue as i do. (Latest WindowFX i downloaded from the site)

i'm running windows 7 64bit with ATI HD6770 (latest driver version 12.10), Dual monitors Cinema display 1680x1050/1920x1200

1-  Firefox version 17.0.1 bookmark folder when i click on it drop down menus effect don't work ( Chrome & IE are working).

2- Inactive windows, check box : make inactive windows transparent windows does transparent but in one mode state, even if i move the slider back & forth

3- is iTunes version 10.7 the only effect not working is Minimize button but if i click on the icon from the taskbar to restore or minimize then it's work.

Are those above problems related to WindowFX? Please let me know.

Thanks

These problems might be related to latest Directx11 update which is also installed with Internet Explorer 10. It breaks many things about WindowFx. (like window contents become invisible when a window is moved near the top of the screen, windows empty during animations, some animations not playing leading to pauses before you see them, animated window moving not working properly, etc... I haven't yet got a reply to whether this problem is acknowledged or whether it's going to be fixed.

Moving Uplay window makes everything in the window solid white with the latest beta 5.11 forcing you to restart it, if you have wobbly windows active.

Using latest photoshop, popup windows have problems with inactive windows options (transparency and darkness), basically when they gain focus they produce flickering.

  • Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center 64-bit
  • WindowsFX 5 v5.12
  • EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 with v331.58 WHQL driver
  • 1920x1200

This issue that has occurred throughout every version of WindowsFX 5 I've installed... namely, that if I set the Animations for opening windows from the Open section to anything other than the Default animation then the Backup and Recovery > Create bootable media option in Acronis True Image 2013 appears blank.

Here's what it looks like with the Open > Expand (or any other option other than Default) animation: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/105663038/Screenshot%20%2846%29.png

And here's what it should look like (only appears like this with the Default Open animation): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/105663038/Screenshot%20%2847%29.png

This same issue was present in Windows 8 Pro on my current i7-4770K build with clean Windows install and my previous i7-920 build across several different builds of WindowsFX.

Hi developers. I've installed the last version but it still doesn't sinc "background fading" with transition effect speeds. When you minimize window or do something else fade disappears, and this happens instantly like a slap. There is even no such an option to adjust or turn it on mentioned in settings menus. I'm slightly disappointed. Such graphics behaviour looks very unaesthetic. Will you fix it please?
