We will use this thread for feedback on the beta releases for WindowFX 5.
When posting an issue, please provide as much information as possible:
- OS
- Version number of WFX
- Detailed description of issue
- Screenshot (if possible)
- The graphics card(s) you have and the driver version if known
- Your screen resolution

When I right-click on the WFX SysTray Icon, all background windows start flickering like mad. Window with focus at the time is unaffected. Won't stop until the WFX UI opens. Clicking off somewhere doesn't stop it - have click on the 'Configure WindowFX' context menu item & it may take a minute for the UI to appear. Does not happen when I launch WFX5 from the Start Menu - UI pops up immediately & background windows unaffected.

FL studio beta error report window upon crash (its a debugging dialog when you close it)....so, not so easy for you to fix since is not easy to get the beta if you're not an official customer.
The window shows up on the taskbar but the actual window dialog wont.

Wobby Windows don't work like Ubuntu ones...

In what way do they not work like the Ubuntu ones?
There are two modes, WindowFX style and Compiz style. The second of those should be near identical to the Ubuntu ones.

Identical? Have you've never used ubuntu?
On Ubuntu the animation is more fluid, more "liquid"... and, above all, on WindowFX i noticed a lag on animation...
...for me it is still far from the effect on ubuntu, in fact I turned it off!
Please, work on it...
If I may make a suggestion: the effects would be nice to be able to activate only a few in random mode!

Windows FX 5.1 beta is working fine in Windows 8 Pro release FYI. Have NOT checked 'all' aspects, but the ones I normally use (pretty much all random animations for all, and wobbly windows 'Compiz Style') are working great.

WindowFX 5.1 beta 2 not working here on Windows 8 Pro. When I turn WindowFX feautres on, it turns itself back off after 3 to 4 seconds.

Dual Monitor issue
2ndary monitor win FX does not work. Window becomes about 10% transarent until moved to the first monitor and invisible when moving along second monitor.
Windows 8 Pro
WinFX 5.1 Beta (for windows 8)
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 560 TI x2 SLI
1920X1080
Anyone else have a similar problem?

Add the ability to drag/drop files/folders to portals and have the item enter the correct folder 
. Because at the moment the portal flickers and nothing happens.

Not sure if anyone else with the symptoms is using TLB and WindowFX together.Thanks for that information. We'll try to reproduce it.
Any news, any luck with re-producing the issue?
Let us know if it worked, if it's the same fix they sent me it didn't work.
