yes I have also been mildly concerned over this listing notice. I thought at first it was due to the server transition, but now I am worried. Is there any news on the status?

I told you all before..... "Maintenance" = Fishing out all the XP stuff, (30 million gigabytes) to lighten the load on the server!!

is it me or have things gotten to the point that you have to watch posting any concern or question about the site. I saw the above thread as just the support of a few community members showing concern in a positive way and just asking a simple question. No offense BoXXi, the the I told you all before, and a rather discouraging comment back on something that was positive. I am very quiiet most of the time on this board souly for the fact that most of the time if you do show any concern, support, or etc for some aspects of the community, a negetive response comes.

MobiusCo: I'm not an admin, and I too am puzzled by the disappearance of the walls section. My comment above was just lighthearted, and pertained to a discussion in a previous thread.

I think BoXXi and others are just trying to give this site character, which I believe is what they've done. They aren’t trying to be discouraging.
On a different note: I, too have been wondering the same question concerning the wall gallery...

Mobius....it is still due to the transition and should be back to normal soon.
I'm not sure if that is 'soon' in an 'astral' sense, or 'human life-span' sense...

The move to UUNet is causing us major headaches.
Normally the sites are running on two servers. At this moment everything is on one server while the other server is in transit. Unfortunately this server is the slower of the two which is causing the server to be over burdurened as it is doing double duty.
Also, traffic has been up and has been maxing bandwidth. So with these two combined issues we turned off the wallpapers to try and reduce the problem.
There have been a few stumbling blocks in getting the second server to the new facility which has caused us additionaly delay. I would hope that we can have things more back to normal some time next week.
I'm also in the midst of moving a few things around to help so keep your fingers crossed.
