Themes causing toggle boxes to be invisible
Tuesday, January 10, 2012 by desiree | Discussion: Object Desktop
Hello, I am running windows7 64bit. I have an nvidia quadro fx card. I have the latest edition of object desktop.
My problem:
Whenever I skin (using theme manager or windowblinds) toggle boxes and such become invisible. The toggle boxes, radial buttons, all of those things do not show up. When I unload the skin, the boxes (etc) show up again. And sometimes RIGHT after skinning they will still be visible. But within minutes they are no longer visible.
Can anyone please help me? I really want to have my system skinned, but it's not useable with important page and dialog elements not visible.

The second card is still in there because I'm pissed it's not working and I'm sulking! I use Maya and 3ds Max and wanted the double vid cards. They are SLI connected. Everything should be working properly.
It is a fresh install, I had formatted my drive, and that's how I lost my previous installation and had to reorder.
Wizard1956, IE isn't having the issue, it is working skinned. One more reason to hate it! hehehee.
I'll go ahead and deal with the cards today or tomorrow. I just have been dreading it. And since this issue started before the funky card setup I thought I could just work around it.

If everything else is ok, the issue is with Failfox not playing well with WindowBlinds. Not to worry, just wait a week, FF is sure to have a dozen or so updates by then to try.

This has been going on for a few months! hehehee. It's terrible! So I will definitely screw around with the hardware and see if that resolves it.

And yeah, I do see the issue in other places, like dialog boxes and anything that has radial or check boxes or those sorts of things.

Alright, I got both my video cards installed and running properly. I even un/re-installed blinds and theme manager. Reindexed again, and tried the Aero and reskinning. And I still have the problem.

Forget FF for a moment. Does IE display properly? Where are you seeing this issue besides with FF (Windows and any other applications)
Also, try removing the non-working card as Roloccolor suggested.
