How do i use XP Skins?

Hey, i have windows XP but i dont know how to get the skins ive downloaded installed
do i have to have windows blinds?
if i dont, the only thing ive tried is the theme tab under display properites?
what else is there?

You do need the Windowblinds program to use the skins found in the library here.

RC1 of WindowBlinds XP is now available, www.windowblinds.net. Just install that and then you can just open the .wba file directly and it's add to your visual style list.

This may seem like a stupid question but do I have to have windows xp to use desktop x? I'm downloading it now and I have windows millenium. I don't want to waist my space if this isn't going to work on my system. I intend to buy windows xp next week. Thanks, Kim

Nope. WindowBlinds and DesktopX work on any version of Windows from Win98 on.
