How to install Icons
Tuesday, December 27, 2011 by moodylink | Discussion: Icons
Hi All,
I'm new to this program and just wanted to know how/where to install the zipped icons from Wincustomize into my IconPackager program? I use Windows 7.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

I have icon packager 5 installed though when I download an icon package they just download as zipped files:-(( the same applies to "windowblinds". Am I missing something?

No, if you are using IE, things are borked. Either use another browser or change the extension back to .ip or .iconpackage
What package did you download? Some are zipped if other things are included(permission, instructions, etc.)
For WindowBlinds, change it back to .wba

Every time i double click on a .ip, Icon Packager asks for the registration. Very fustrating.
How many times must I register?

Probably a rhetorical question but of course the answer is "once".
It sounds like the registration isn't actually taking. I'm guessing you're running Win7. Try running icon packager with full-blown permissions, i.e. what you do when you're installing new software, and enter the registration at that point. Then exit icon packager and start it back up again and see if the registration sticks.

If you have Iconpackager installed all you have to do is double click on the .iconpackage and it will self install or open the Iconpackager configuration window and click on Add Icon Package. A drop down window will open and then click on Add from disk. Then just navigate to where the icon pack is and click on it.
