Just wanted to post a screeny of a quick mockup for a Rainmeter theme I'm going to be working on. Comments, advice and any useful input is greatly appreciated.

Agreed! But you'll have to supply your own. Kind of a BYOD.

Thanks, rolmfaoo. Yeah, many a good day spent listening to Pink (which one was Pink? lol). Just basic at the moment. I'll work from a picture for colours of the spectrum and the triangle, etc from here on.

Hey Starcandy. I'm liking the spectrum colors there. I have something I think you'll like. Interested?

OP picture updated. Image is more accurate now and I replaced the transparent black area with a blue. Gonna have a play around after I wake up a bit. Still isn't 'popping' for me yet.

Cheers. Could be a while, but once I get a design down that I'm happy with, it's just coding from there.

Thanks, but it's not a Windowblind, it's a Rainmeter skin. Rainmeter uses modules to give you realtime readouts for hard drives, CPU usage and other things, like THIS. If you want to use it and need any help setting it up, send me a PM and I'll try to help you out.

Okay, show me what you've got. But if it's a picture of you butt-naked and painted spectrum colours, I'm not going to be impressed.

hellsville!!! you never told me you were into pink floyd!! im impressed!

hey, dont let uvah show you nothing, its probably his rainbow flares.... remnants of the 70`s

hmm. would you do me a favour?, can you do an experiment, and try a transparent black glass version, instead of the white one you have going there, and see what

you think?  ...just a suggestion but, okay?

but im loving the rainbow colours and overall design...

You mean the entire thing in transparent black instead of just the data readout section?

And yeah, told my brother when I was sixteen that Pink Floyd suck. By eighteen I was totally into them. Of course, I was "dabbling with interesting substances" at the time, lol.

Looking good.

Brings back some great memories!

First saw Pink Floyd play live in 1967 as support act for Jimi Hendrix.

GOOD TIMES!

Updated!

Still kicking this around.

1. Background transparency at 65%

2. Added 1pixel stroke in black

3. Added opaque top section

Opinions?

'67! Right at the start of their career. Hot damn that must have been a gig and-a-half! They'll have still had Syd with them.

Ok Mr. Floyd. After this let's test your meddle.

Do a theme for "Several species of small furry animals gathered together in a cave and grooving with a pict"!!

That track was really a kind of primitive style of techno, so that would be more up neone6 or Vampy's street I'd guess.

The Dogs of War appeals to me though

It's Miss. Floyd BTW

Coincedentally, I still listen to Floyd on my ipod while cruising on my Harley. Adds a whole new dimension to the experience, especially when it's  "Dark side of the Moon"   Love your design concept, that's what I call thinking outside of the box.   --Ace --

I call it QED. All sorts of goodies ... colors wheels, spectrum images, etc. etc. Take a look. If you're interested in playing with it I'll be happy to send it your way.
