I've tried to put electronic downloads into a stocking but it always leaks out of the holes.

You have to use anti-static liners in the stockings and make sure you're using grounded stocking hooks. 
Seriously though, I think this Holi-Daily Deals sale is a great idea, I hope they do this again next year.
