Worst mistake of 2001!

I thought that with it being a new millenium I could start fresh. Hasn't worked out that way. What would you say was your worst mistake so far in 2001?
My mistake:
Not dumping my boyfriend before we got engaged.

He was always a cretin of sorts. But I was stupid enough to think he would get better.

Waiting until October to go to the Dentist.

pah. I've lost so much money in the stock market this year I think my biggest mistake had to be not selling some of it earlier.

My biggest mistake has been not finishing my new website. My time is limited, and when I DO get on to my computer, I just want to create and play, instead of working in Dreamweaver putting in all the boring stuff that a website needs to make it work. Oh well...........

Well I know the worst mistake I made this year but it's related to this site so I won't talk about it.

Getting kicked out of my graduation project. Argh!! Now I have to start all over again. Although, those guys were foul bastards, so it might not be that bad. Grrr, I could've been MSc by now... *grumbles*

I _was_ designing an interface for a digital video recorder thing (similar to TiVo, but better). Sort of a trial project for a big telecom company.
But alas, I got kicked out after six months, due to personal differences with my company tutors.
So I now have to dig up a new project (or actually, I already have).

Biggest mistake? I passed on a spot in a small independent team that was making an RPG. As it turns out, the leader of the team got a high-paying job at EA, and they're subsidizing the team. Pardon me while I go kick my own arse...

I'm more in Doreen's and berzerka's camps here.
I've always thought regret was a waste of energy (same with jealousy), save for what you have to learn from your mistakes.
The great think about mistakes though is that you get to overcome (hopefully) or cope and test yourself.
