Search Box Acting Strangely (Scrofulously Solved)

Guys, I know this is just trivial. But I can't undersatnd why this is happening.
When I type anything into the search box at the top right of the page, the text won't go in until I get halfway across the box.
Anyone else?

It might be the key logger I installed on your PC causing the typing to appear slowly. 
Have you tried entering your credit card infom, mother's maiden name, date of birth, etc?

When checked, there is a problem.
When unchecked, no problem.
At least that is what happens for me.
Yes! That was it!!! I had turned it on to access my wife's payroll info, and had forgot. Thanks man! K for you!

Although I agree that 64Bit IE9 is not as robust as it should be, the 3 people who have experienced the issue have all been using the 32 Bit version.

You are dealing with a redneck, what else would you expect. You might want to PM him and let him know how to turn the compatibility view off and on.
