Tile vs. Picture wallpaper

It would be really nice if there were a differentiation between the imaged wallpapers, like get posted now, and simple tiling pictures. The tiling ones are often very nice too, and dont drag the machine as badly as a full-screen image.

Different sections would be a good idea, though I don't think a tile is a more resource friendly (still sucks up the same memory as a full screen wall).

hm usually small size picture uses less resources but more cpu ( tiling pictures.. ) but not so much that full screen is better. but with nowdays computers its moot point.

currently im using a tiled legos wallpaper.

The only effect I have noticed on resources between full image and tiles is if you have the active desktop activated. Needless to say a definite resource hog. but other than that no noticabe difference even on an old P133 with 64megs of ram. One suggestion is put tile in the title, maybe that will draw specific attention to the tiles and allow for a search.
