I just wanted to say a public thank you to Paul (Jafo) for once again taking the time to collect and send me memorabilia from this years Australian MotoGP race........
Paul went to a lot of trouble and personal expense to get this stuff to me and it's things I will treasure being a MASSIVE MotoGP fan.
In the photo you can see Paul's Marshalls tabbard that he wore for the weekends racing, an official track marshalls hat signed by the great Loris Capirossi in his final season, a race program, a minute by minute guide, a sticker for my car and the official marshalls newsletter. To a fan and collector like me, this stuff is pure gold!!
Thank you Paul....... You are a GOOD guy, and anyone who says different will have ME to deal with..........

I don't care when they run it Paul, as long as they do!! Anyway, the rain makes for a level playing field, which always amuses me....
Syd: That photo doesn't include all the stuff Jafo has sent me from previous years....... Lots of stuff!!!!

Though he can be a bit peculiar sometimes, you won't get any arguments from me, Bryan. The fact that Paul did this for you is a testament to his truly being a good guy...

Timely I got Capirossi's autograph. I didn't realise it'd be his last season/time at PI.
22 years...... that means he started back in '89 .... back when I first started with the Moto [500s].
Needless to say I'd 'caught up with him' more than once....he's a regular visitor to the Officials' piss-on ...er.. party.... and a nice bloke.
Now if only Stoner would take the time to hang out with us....

Word is....not next year [2012] but 13 ....Dorna is going to switch the dates of our Moto with our SBK ...so the Moto will be in Feb.
The clever dicks think the weather is better in Feb.....they forget we had a washout second race in the Supers one year....didn't run it.
