Video demo of new Dynamic Dreams.

Note:  It's difficult to record HD video of the dynamic dreams.  These small previews might appear slow or jumpy, but they are completely smooth when being used on the desktop.  It's just a limitation of video software.

Can you customize "Colored Lights" in any way? It is a dynamic dream, but nowhere stands anything about available settings.

And the "Moving Wallpaper" is really great. Even though the collage is amazing, I still mostly used a single picture as an wallpaper so far. But that now will probably stay on for a while. It is so calming and comforting.

Coloured lights has a couple of config options.

You can alter the speed, make all your monitors show the same content (vs unique for each) and tell it to avoid reds, greens or blues if you prefer it didn't use certain colours.  The desktop colours dream has the very same settings and so does the drips dream though that also has an option to keep the background dark unlike the others.

Ok, thank you. So I will buy some of the others too (probably all ). But not until I had enough of "moving wallpaper"

Each of them has the option to show unique content per monitor for multiple monitor users which is a plus and two of them default to a very slow speed so they do not distract you at all.

I just bought the Moving Wallpaper dream and as always you create the best dreams!

I'd love to see this feature quoted above added to an update of Photodream, of course.  Right now, I have to run multiple instances of Photodream to get the same result and I'm sure that's not as efficient as your new approach.  8)

As far as this awesome dream goes, is there ever a possibility that the pan and zoom of a single image can cover 2 or more monitors at the same time?  I have a directory filled with 5000+ pixel wide images that would just look stunning with your dream panning and zooming around multiple monitors!

GREAT work as always.  Thanks for keeping Deskscapes fresh and exciting.

Update for Neil:  I have found that your new algorithm for handling multiple monitors with Moving Wallpapers works GREAT with multiple monitors on the same display adapter.  It is very efficient with dwm.exe cycles.

However, it still suffers from the same problems as other dreams when working with monitors on another/second display adapter.

In those cases, it is still preferable to run two or more separate instances of Moving Wallpaper, one per monitor, in order to optimize the hardware acceleration per task per monitor (layman's description).

Because of this, I am now running Moving Wallpaper, Photo Dream, and Desktop Collage on a single desktop comprised of three different 30" monitors using two different display adapters and the (NOT state of the art) machine is VERY responsive - and stunningly beautiful!

You are the man.

Very nice! Even though there seems to have been a small slowdown on releases of quality skins, like when Kol switched to a Mac and has never been back (Despite in my personal opinion BEST OS X Tiger WindowBlinds), this is something be truly impressed by.

I know that not many have 3D monitors yet (cost plus wearing funky glasses), I would personally spend the money to buy a touch-screen 3D monitor, if Stardock would release a fully HD touch 3D interactive desktop. Even owning a license for the next year of Object Desktop, I would gladly pay extra for something like that.

Keep up the great work everyone. I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with next.
