U cant change jumplist text color.

are you sure? if you change the start menu text color you change the jump list text color as well. but your start menu text and jump list text can not be different colors.

Text colors for the jump list follow the right side of the start panel

Thanks everyone, i changed the right hand side item mouseover changed the normal color to the desired blue and the mouseover to black...
The text of the startmenu places list is now showing the nice blue color but on mouseover its also showing the blue color and not the selected black same with the jump list sadly...
i made this image before i tested the right hand side that 2of3 suggested but this is also a problem
1. on the left you can see the startmenu before i tested the blue color i had the left hand side item mouseover text on default ( black ) for normal and mouseover.
But as i mouseover the proglist the text turns greyish ( its not the gradient mousover background) since it shows normal on the right side ( placeslist ) with a solid black while i mouseover anything in the list.

2.the middle image is the Jumplist i want it to look like the picture on the right since i think the black is not very visable on the background thats why i want the normal color to be that bright blue and the mouseover to be black

Rolo you are going to have to change the jumplist background image. The text colors as I said follow the startpanel. I am aware that the jumplist section has a text setting tab, but that is totally useless.

As for the mouseover text on the left side, You need to look at the settings for the spartpanel left side and the left item mouseover text settings.

2of3 exuse me for asking again but as far as i understood now the color i used from the color defined for the starmenu right side will be used by the jumplist( jumplist )...
but it will only use a single color - ( normal ) and the mouseover will not be used ?  or can it ?

Both the normal and mouseover text colors in the jumplist will follow the settings for the right side of the startpanel.

Yes, it follows the start menu, no, you do not have independent control.. of.... and the text section for the JL, doesn't work.

im remaking the background for jumplist now without any gold in it hopefully it will work then since now it just does not. Thanks again for the help

Don't stress too much RC, we all went thru all this as well at some point.

Skinning oneself into a corner, is a typical pitfall in WB.

Take notes, try not to make the same mistakes over and over.. like some people do did

I wont stress with it no more for today i will sleep over it and try again tomorrow since i reached the point where iam unable to change the mouseover color for the startmenu be it places or proglist and honestly i have no freaking clue why, maybee thats why i dont get the mouseover color working on the jumplist  ??? I dont know

today i have seen that you can minimize a window further than the normal explorer window -example skinstudio´s main window can be minimized to a tiny thingy (window) where for me everything gets cut off while the explorer cant get minimized that far and does still look okey without loosing shape.
so i thought remaking all  parts to minimize my margin problem , so if someone try´s minimizing the window to its minimium he/she  wont be unpleased with the skin.
So i remade every single frame but my concept still needs a little room but now it will also not work.
 I now have the option removing everything an go for a naked gradient frame without any other graphics or ask if there is a value i can set via code so that the window cant get minimized over a certain size...
if so that would be very very 
The fallowing picture explains it better i think : Skinstudio minimized completely then explorer minimized to minimum and how it does look when the size is big enough for the explorer info pane to show.
I know that the margin values are the main problem on the Skinstudio minimized size but i dont want to give up on the concept

You need to decide whether it's important enough to compromise your design.

I want it to workon every part but i also want to hold on to the main idea... so the best next idea that pops into my rookie mind would be including 
a substyle with naked gradient frames that wouldnt be that much of extra work and everyone could decied for theirself what they want that way i could at least show the original idea  + they wont have to change it on their own.
But this is bugging me a lot since i have tested it only on the explorer window and just spottet this problem when i saved the wb.

I've a recurrent problem with search/nav icons in explorer.

they are skinned and perfectly drawned on SKS preview, but don't apply in WB 7.2, and so for all skins I install, not only mine.

Did anyone notice the same issue and found the solution ?

NB: I use Windows 7 Home Premium

Have you closed and re opened the window? They never show up until the window is "reset"....this applies to the nav arrow background as well.

I can do anything, they are never skinned.

They appear correctly on SKS preview and WB config preview. Just don't apply in real...(explorer and control panel)

For nav arrows background, all is OK.

A problem with my WB version ?

just looked at Abyss and the explorer navigation buttons are skinned as well as ie8 and control panel.
