changing defaults

seems like the "details" choice for windows explorer is the default view. I'd like to change that default setting to "large icons", can it be done globally?

GMC2, Hit the button that says apply to all folders, and the view you have in the current folder (tiles, large icons, etc.) will be the default for all folders.

 

Ignore the stuff below that.

If you've done that, and it's not working, something is borked on your system.
