UIS3

Sunday, September 30, 2001 by misterME | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I'm sure this has been discussed on here, but I missed it apparently....

Is there a resource for creating skins using the new UIS3 skin format? I know it won't ship until later, assumedly with WB3.1, but I'd like to go ahead and start getting my feet wet with it.

And is UIS3 required to skin things like the new XP Taskbar an Start Menu/Panel? Or can that be done now?

Hehe. Maybe I should've defined "resource" a little more clearly. I meant: "a template or resource file that includes the new tags/sections/arguments for skinning things unique to WinXP", not "is there a program that will do this for me?"

Thanks. I'll check out the XPcopper stuff and look for clues there.
