A Little Ruthless Self-Promotion
Sunday, September 4, 2011 by Starcandy | Discussion: Community
On the advice of Po Smedley I set up a Blogger account last night and then wrote my first entry. It's going to be for showing my artwork more than anything, though I might make actual blog posts too. Obviously there's still a lot to do with setting things up properly, but I'll get it done soon.
Anyway, the blog is at http://www.hexedrenal.com/
That's http://www.hexedrenal.com/ ![]()
One more time http://www.hexedrenal.com/ ![]()
A-thank ya'.
PS http://www.hexedrenal.com/ can also be accessed from my Wincustomize site.
PPS Thanks again, Po.

Nothing wrong with a little self promotion.....especially if you leave little Ruth out of it!
Good on ya, Starcandy!!

All in all though, absolutely lovely! Good for you!
Sorry about that, Doc. I'll sort something out with the template for the site asap. Just a little busy at the moment trying to create an icon or two and recolouring others for a screeny. But it will be done, soon(ish)
And thank you

And what have you done with her? Ruth, that is.
Hopefully nothing too serious, the place wouldn't be the same without her.
Also, where does the term "ruthless" come from?
Well Ruth, as some have it, was Lot's wife in the Bible.... and according to some, when Lot's wife turned to see Sodom and Gomorah destroyed, and was subsequently turned into a pillar of salt, Lot looked toward the heavens and asked: "Now wasn't that just a bit ruthless?"

That one deserves to be archived, Starkers; good job!

I like your work... the "Implied Human Presence" is quite good. The print takes on a slight reddish cast... contrast high on my old eyes.. (maybe black print on a dove gray background?) - up to you.
All in all though, absolutely lovely! Good for you!
