I love snoopy, which reminds me, when my brother Peter got married some years ago he and his wife madlyn brought me back from the USA a snoopy dog, out of all the toys I had that was my favorite he went to bed with me, and to school for show and tell, he was never too far out of my sight until the day my mum and dad sold the family home and my mum and dad said to me that I would have to go part with some of my toys and poor snoopy was one of them I was so devo it wasn't funny I cried, and I cried. so seeing your avatar reminded me of my toy ahhh the memories

I really should replace mine but it's so hard to fit all this greatness into a 100x100 pixel space.

it would be nice to be able to have a choice of sizes for our avatars and to use gif as well that would be awesome

Yes....once you've squeezed the greatness into it it's a bugger to work out what to fill the remaining 9,999 pixels with....

While Doc's avatar may be cute n' all, it would be more appropriate if he were to use an image of a mad doctor/scientist... like in the old time movies.
Like this perhaps?....
I mean, who's going to disagree.... everyone know he's as mad as a hatter/lunatic as a March Hare

Like the skulls on the desk, each appears to be completely empty headed... but they managed to get the job done and find a cure.
