right click on an empty part of your taskbar, then click properties, when the taskbar properties window opens, check the box that says use small icons. click apply then ok and your taskbar should revert to a more XP and vista size. good luck mate ![]()

I see the Action Center flag (windows 7) and a windowblinds icon. I don't think either is found on OS/X.
Try small icons, and/or lock the taskbar. Actually, it looks like small icons are being used already. That FF taskbar button is small....hmmm..

Well part of your problem is going to be that mac os x tiger came out in 2005 and may only be for XP. I ran it on my XP computer and liked it a lot. You can try to run older WBs on your Windows 7 system but I would at least try one that is for Vista and XP. There is no guarantee that they will run without some problems.

oh ok.... i guess that makes sense. it's just weird though because i tested out every single theme on the main WB screen [with the scroll bar left to right] and all of them did the exact same thing. are there any updated versions of any theme similar to the tiger one?? i really wanted that mac look.

Try Sabertooth by Stardock Design(included with WindowBlinds). It's Win7 ready

I must be missin' something......are you saying you can't use the mouse to resize the taskbar?
Reply #11 Sunday, August 21, 2011 12:59 AM
i can make it bigger but it doesn't get any smaller than it is in the screenshots. it started off tiny/regular sized with my windowblinds theme, like how it is supposed to be.... but once the computer restarted it was twice the size it is supposed to be. if i uninstall window blinds it goes back to normal. then reinstall it it stays normal, but with restart i repeat the same thing all over again.

Did you lock the taskbar before the re-boot?
i locked it once before the reboot and i even tried again with out it locked.

Open WindowBlinds config, go to About WindowBlinds and copy and paste the info here.
How long have you been using WB's? Trial or paid? Did you use Impulse to install it and if so, can you verify the installation in Impulse.
Go to the software tab in Impulse, r-click on WB's while holding down Shift and select Verify installation.

This would be the best step to take now. Link them back to this thread in your e-mail so they will know what steps you've already taken. This is a very odd problem, to be sure. Good luck.
