Crazy People - Social Networking

For reasons like this, Facebook and all other social networking sites should be taken down in my opinion. They serve no real useful purpose and it gives way too much access to the crazy people out there!

If people want to plan or support their crazy stuff, let them do it by email, far less of an audience!

Nonsense. Facebook and other sites have a great purpose and value. As with everything, people can take advantage of it, but no reason to say they should all be "banned".

The social and social/business networking sites have users and abusers. Legitimate and illegitimate uses.
You wouldn't begrudge Stardock business which comes its way through I.D.'s and others' efforts on these sites, would you?
Enough of limiting the world because of the wackos. When they show their arses, kick 'em out of wherever.
Allowing criminal nut jobs like him to access places is good in one respect only: We find out who they are and the right people can watch them.

that would be like saying pipes, gas, metal, etc. etc. should all be banded to..
I just did a Facebook search for Jared Cano wow one even wrote ()
wow he doesn't deserve this he/she is ate up.. he does deserve his dayS in court and his LOOONNGG jail time.
no one as a reasons to blow up kids or anyone ...

If all that bomb making stuff was on his dresser and the cops did not move it there... what the hell was his parent(s) not doing!!

I am just saying that social networking sites allow an avenue that gives publicity to wackos that they do not even deserve, and that other wackos can read, more easily than if they were not even there in the first place.
Why do I not close my Facebook account Snowman? Because I have a 16 year old son and I keep track of him, that's why. I would prefer he did not even have a Facebook account, but there are other issues involved as to why I let him keep it, for now.

Personally, I think the planet would be a better place if we slooowed down a bit.. and some of these social network sites do in fact, incite violence, pack mentality, and any other number of negatives.
As with anything It can be a good thing, for some people, causes...although, it usually isn't. Personally, I'd rather do without it.
Get out and play some sports, volunteer at a hospital, play some music. Whatever you did 10-20 years ago.
Yeah, I have a twitter, and FB, and a Myspace... I never use any of them, very little value for me personally and typically have just disgusted me for one reason or another in the past.
Anyhoo.. who knows how the net will be next week.. maybe it all changes for the better.
Oh, and get of your smart phones too, you look like idiots, sitting on a beach, grinding your fingertips into a 3 inch screen while asking your friend for help in getting rid of all the spam emails your account seems to keep sending out to all your contacts.

If you have so much hate for social sites, like Facebook, why don't you deactivate your account over there then?
One less anti-social, crazy person for 'them' to access.
