Transparent windows

How do i make transparent windows, like menus, and internet explorer, Mirc, my computer/internet explorer? Thanks

Prog is called WindowFX and you can purchase it on the STardock site.
It also allows you to add shadows to menu's and window borders.
Should be noted that it'll only work on Windows 2000/XP, so if you have 98/ME, forget about it, as neither does transparency.

There was also another program, free, called Transparizer I think. But I don't have the link and a quick search in Google produced no satisfying results, so I don't know.
But in all cases, keep in mind that your computer will b considerably slowed down.
