I think thats a DXAMP plugin for Winamp In Nuvem's Sputnik screenshot.

In order to use it. you'd need DesktopX Here's a link that should get you to the shareware version: http://www.desktopx.net

DesktopX allows you to modify your desktop and add plugins. That particular plugin is used to control Winamp.

You don't have to use DesktopX to change your entire desktop. You can use it to add one or two things to it if you want to keep things simple.

Once you have desktopX you can use any of the various DXAMP objects that you can find in the DesktopX section of this web site.

Alternatively, if you want, you can simply use winamp itself, set all three of the winamp windows to winshade mode so they're tiny and place them at the top of you screen and set winamp for always on top.

well I realize that when I double click on play it opens up my winamp and then I click on play again then it plays. Is there somehow I can just click play on it and it plays without opening winamp. If there isn't then I'll just forget about what I'm trying to do.

Yes, you can have the dxamp startup winamp minimized when you hit the play button on the dxamp object.

Right click the play button on the dxamp object.
This displays the object's context menu. Select Properties.

This will display the Properties dialog box. Near the top it should display a combo box that says Custom class.

Press the Configure button underneath it. This'll display the Command Plugin Settings dialog box that has two fields. For the Parameter 1 field make sure it has the following text:

"Play Run Menu"
(Don't include the quotes)

This should do it. At least it works for me.

ok thanks but after I did that and press play the winamp starts up then it plays is there somehow to not let the winamp startup while the dxamp object plays without it?

Unfortunately no, dxamp is not a standalone mp3 player. It needs winamp to be running. What dxamp actually does is send messages to winamp, telling winamp to play, pause, stop, next track, prev track and so on.
