Just noticed that Mozilla now has an optional tabbed interface, ala NetCaptor, dubbed MultiZilla.
It works like crap here, but then, it's still alpha. I'm a big NetCaptor fan and am glad to see Mozilla heading in this direction.
Incidently, WebBlinds 1.1 is also supposed to provide an optional tabbed interface to IE. (That is, if they ever get done with 1.0.)

I was going to say that I don't like tabs, but then I remembered that I don't use Webblinds. Windowblinds skins IE just fine for me. Never mind then.

Actually I use Netcaptor too. It's tabbed interface and captor groups are extremely convient. I wonder how it compares to INetTab.

Bill: Not only will "web optimizing" features be turned off by default, but they won't be there at all. They were causing problems, so they've been removed for now.
As for when 1.0 will be released, your guess is as good as anyone's. There have been a ton of beta updates lately, trying to nail down a few remaining (but serious) bugs.

Craeonics... I thought you were a big Mozilla fan! You don't like the new tab extension? After all it seems they are promoting this because it uses less memory.

Does Webblinds do alphablending in the toolbar? (I don't care about the throbber).

It probably uses less memory because only one window has to be skinned. Big Mozilla fan, but also a big fan of multiple independent windows. SO tabbing is not for me.

Any idea from anyone in the know when it will hit 1.0 and come out of beta. I've been keeping my eye on it and have noticed it's at RC now. Any word on whether the "web optimizing" features will be turned off by default, Mike will know what I'm talking about... BTW Tabs would be nice!
