Hi
I have a small question for you excellent ppl in here.
Is there any1 in here that can tell me where i can change the looks of my taskbar and start menu, i am using "Restorator" to get in to explorer.exe and i have managed to change the picture in the startmenu but now i want to replace the taskbar and start menu with my own one allso interested in getting them transparent without using TCclok.
maybe im way off here and its not possible but you have to ask to know ;o)

Nah, it just means that people in here are being lazy . . . *grin*
To change the taskbar and start menu, what you really want is ObjectBar. Now, a public version of this isn't out yet, but it *will* be "real soon now", so you could wait for that (or buy a subscription to the Object Desktop Network and get it now . . .) - the Object bar page is here: https://www.stardock.com/products/objectbar/
Alternatively, you could try a DesktopX theme with a replacement for the taskbar. This is something to try if you want something a little more radical, or want to have a desktop theme that compliments your taskbar area. A DesktopX beta can be downloaded from here: https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/download.html

I haven't answered because i understood you wanted to accomplish that without any third party program, just with resource editing. Unfortunately I have no clue on how to do that, or even if it can be done...

belived im trying to do this whitout any thirdparty products.
Sorry if it sounded like i was getting a little bit angry there, maybe i was somewhat tired trying to figure out how to do it, but i have found the *.bmp:s in explorer.exe that i want to change so now im back in the workshop.
