TaskBar

Thursday, April 8, 2004 by Chesley Gulick | Discussion: Stardock Software

How can I get rid of the taskbar but still have the icons by the clock still be available. In other words shut down the explorer like in the minimilistic (sp?) desktop.

I found out how, but now my problem is that I cannot open a folder without explorer trying to reopen. Thank you, in advance, for any help or advice.

Don't know if you're running DesktopX or not but if you do, use the Konstrictor theme. No taskbar, but systray shows.

or use object bar and hide the windows taskbar.... and make your own 'system tray' bar with the object bar program.
