Fav Icon question

Anybody know where the fav icons are physically stored on the computer (like the Wincustomize, DeviantArt, and Lots of Skins icons)?
They show up in my favorites menu, but I can't find them. I know they're stored on my computer (W2K) somewhere.
I want to copy them so I can use them as hotspot buttons for NS.

I recommend downloading and installing the free program FavOrg. It will allow you to save them anywhere you want, and will stop them from being purged from your cache (which is why they disappear after awhile).
