windows 7 shut down button in startmenu

will there be any update for skin studio so that the windows 7 shut down button's glyphs can be skinned? like in vista.
it makes it pretty silly to only have to skin a square button when the rest of the buttons for other os's are different. and it screws with the overall
design if it can be similar to the rest.

sounds so frustrating and I do understand. but ya know, Friday is not the best day to leave a software enhancement question. probably won't be seen by the go to guys until Monday. I'll attempt to remember to bump it up on Monday with you, no guarantee though, what with senior moments and all.

I'm not sure there will ever be any updates. Would be nice if we had more information and date other than they are working on another method now that Imopulse is no more. Also as to what will be updated.

Why not just not skin them? If you want them to look like the other OS's, if you don't skin the 7 ones, it will use the Vista ones in that place. Would that work on your skin, or am I not understanding what you mean?

its not using the vista ones in its place on my skin,
but then again i didnt add them either,
but then again, i didnt know you could use vista icons instead of window 7 icons as i assumed they were all different being a different os.
have you used vista icons instead of w7 icons and replaced them and if so what was the outcome.

I did it in Armageddon. All you need to do is skin the Vista buttons, and not the 7 buttons.

You can actually skin the Windows 7 shutdown buttons any way you want Kitty. You would build the glyph look into the actual image though. Have a look at these skins of mine:
