Although, you do have to consider that even the gullible and those who can not think for themselves do wind up being right once in their life.

Because they have hope and faith...and they're lazy. Because it's a much more pleasant thought that Jesus is going pull you out of here to live in ecstasy with Him in the sky, then it is to realize we're going to have to clean up this mess ourselves or die trying.

I believe in a higher power whether you call it, he or she, God, the Gods, Mother Earth, Buddah, Aliens or whatever word you use, who empowered our species with a mind capable of thought, reasoning and decision making so if some folks want to always be looking for the “end’ instead of living their life to the fullest extent all I can say is, “hey, good luck with that!” 
I'm on EST so did "they" establish a time zone for this "event"!?!?!
