How to show the WinAmp-Playlist with a DesktopX-Button

Friday, August 31, 2001 by QBERT | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

What I must do, to integrate the WinAmp-Playlist in a DesktopX-Object. I wanna show the Playlist normally or as a Popup-Menue.

Thanks

Currently you cannot do that with DXPlayer. Maybe another plugin can do that. Sorry.

You can do it with the DXToys plugin. It'll show you the current winamp playist as a poup menu and and allows you to select select what song you want to jump to in the playlist.

You can usually find it on one the stardock desktopx newsgroups.

If you've got DXtoys do the following:
Add a new object with some icon or button.

For the object class select: Custom Class
For parameter 1 specify: WinAmp
For parameter 2 specify: PopUp PlayList
For the General Plugin, specify: dxToys.dll
