help out someone new at skinning please

ok i used restorator on explorer.exe to change the start menu icon and word. the word changed just fine. the imagine inside on the left of the start menu changed just fine too.. but when i changed the 4 color flag. it just stays the same. is it stored somewhere else other than inside explorer.exe? or is there some sort of protection or check on it. please help me on this. thanks

Using Proggies such as Restorator on your shell [explorer.exe] can be fraught with danger.
Break the shell and your goose is cooked....

yeah but tclock isnt permanemt i dont think. i lik using restorator because my changes stay 
and i know it can mess it up. thats why i alwaysss back everything up first and keep a handy rescue floppy
