e cigarette has anyone tried it?
Friday, May 6, 2011 by Vampothika | Discussion: Community
My mother bought me an e cigarette last week, for an early bday present, and i bought tobacco juice for it in china,
well today i read in the paper that customs are now siezing tobacco liqued for our ecigs, (because it contains.....wow, guess what? TOBACCO)HA.
so instead i decided to look into non nicotine juice for my ecig and found some good ones i will be ordering next payday from here in aus. paying only 30 bucks instead of the amount i normally shell out for cigs, around 90bucks a fortnight. so im saving 60.
anyway, with this non nic, im hoping to still get the hit i want without the chemicals ect involved with smoking. and I think I will.
has anyone tried the ecig and what do they think.
so far ive heard nothing but rave reviews so i cant wait to vape instead of puff

But what are the chemicals involved with the e cig. Why not just "woman" up and quit?

you might as well smoke the real tobacco..
e-cigarettes, has shown that they contain cancer-causing chemicals and other toxins, including a compound used in antifreeze, U.S. health officials said Wednesday.
oh and I see most of the E cig is made in China LEAD anyone?
In addition to the testing, the FDA said it has been examining and detaining shipments of e-cigarettes at the border. So far, 50 shipments have been seized, according to Michael Levy, division director of the Office of Compliance at the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research.

Tried a few and I can tell ya...the E cigarettes are a waste of money. The batteries run down to fast...and you will blow a lung out trying to get a draw like you would on a real cigarette...in which case you'll die of a collapsed lung. When they actually work...which is for a very short time the work great...but I wouldn't buy one ever again.

It sounds crazy...
I stopped smoking 3 years ago, and these are the good news.
...and the bad news: i drink much more now

The only way I'm gonna ever quit is having someone kidnap me and lock me up for two weeks. I thinks there are crack heads who can quit their habit easier than I can. Of course, there's always dying, but I have this aversion to confined spaces and worms.
I have been looking at the electronic cigarettes. This is the first time I have ever heard of the e-cigarettes. They sound a little risky.

Charlie Sheen is hawking them, but apparently they're not working so good for him...he's still smoking the real kind.

I'm really glad I never started, or more correctly, it "never took" -- I tried smoking a couple of times, the first time when I was 16, at the advice of my mother, since she thought it would make me lose weight (parents can be pretty clueless sometimes). I never could stand the way smoke felt in my mouth, so it never had a chance to make to my lungs; and it never "looked right" on me. Some people look "cool" when they're smoking--it just looked really unnatural on me.

It's women like you and comments like that that got me hooked in the first place.
I carried around a pack of Marlboros when I was 12 hoping Cheryl Vigaent would notice. Then I realized I had to actually open the pack. Of course, I soon realized it would help if I actually lit one...and smoked it.
She noticed. We swapped some spit by the apple orchard and 35 years later I have mild emphysema, a 2 to 3 pack a day habit, and no desire to ever do anything again because some girl thinks it's cool unless it involves blindfolds, latex, Reddi-Whip, and strawberries. (Open to discussing marischino cherries as a substitute but ONLY if they have been marinated in grain alcohol)

With a 2-3 pack a day habit and mild emphysema, how do you have the air to do anything that involves blindfolds, latex, Reddi-Whip and strawberries?
You already GOT the spit exchange with Cheryl Vigaent--why keep paying for it? The way I see it, Smedley, you're about as cool as they come...you don't need the smokes as a prop anymore.

I had to stop doing it while standing up in a hammock. Sometimes, ya just gotta make a sacrifice.
I haven't been 'cool' since 1983. I think now I'm more like 'cute' in a 'don't-make-eye-contact-or-he'll-never-go-away' kinda thing.
She had some sweet spit. sigh.

This e-liquid is a mix of 70% Propylene Glycol (PG) and 30% Vegetable Glycerin (VG) for maximum flavour and vapour.
thats the quote from my aussie dealer who im buying my e liquid from. so i think thats pretty healthy...
as for quitting, i just enjoy smoking way too much to quit, the only reason why im changing over to the ecig is basically price, and health. but price is outwaying health more for me. but when my juice comes, i will give a review on what i think of it.

Your just going to throw money away kitty...trust me...been there done that. And anything that sounds "healthy" may not be healthy once you burn it. It's all just another scam on those who try to quit but can't.

Does the guy say what grade of propylene glycol he uses? If he's using industrial grade, that's the same stuff used in antifreeze and brake fluid. Better make sure he's using pharmaceutical grade. One would naturally assume it's pharmaceutical grade, but some idiots out to make a fast buck have used industrial grade silicone in plastic surgery, too, with pretty disastrous effects.

Ah, propylene glycol when inhaled cause s asthma. Apparently not being able to breathe doesn't concern you?
edit: sorry the other glycol is more toxic to the liver.

This is some liquid from China. Or wherever. You think this is 'healthy'. Stop. Get a grip. No.
"Healthy" starts by stopping doing what's not good for you and starting doing what is. Those chemicals are neither healthy nor safe. They also come from China, well known for it's pollution and casual disregard for anything but profit. If they were from I don't care where, safe they would not be.
Let's stop deluding ourselves. That starts with Smedley thinking he's "cute". Only his wife Skinhit thinks he's cute. And only after Jacqui's been hitting the Georgia moonshine heavily for periods exceeding 72 consecutive hours. Sorry the family secret's out.

I'm going to have to disagree with your medical diagnosis on that one. Smedley is hot, and I don't even have to see a photo to prove that to me. That man's mind is a sex symbol that I have not witnessed the likes of in my entire time on the internet.
That being said, he should give up the smokes so he doesn't deprive us (his screaming, female fans) of his wit, humor and his sexy, sexy art (Po's wallpapers move me) by leaving this world too early.

eh, i forgot to mention, the flavours i have ordered are:
2 or 3 different varieties of tobacco flavoured juice (but are non niccotine)
cherry ripe
chocolate
menthol ice
vanilla gorilla
(the soul purpose for the flavours for me is to add just a pinch to get a mix, like cherry ripe cig, ect.
id love to get aniseed down the track, that stuff is aphrodesiac to me.
