Newbie downloading icons

Once I download the icon file how do I load it into Objectdock?

Also, how do install backgrounds, tiles, and zoomers?

if it's for Objectdock, it should either be a .png of .ico file in the zip file. You can put them in the Objectdock library if you like, or in the bundled images folder. C/Program Files/Stardock/Objectdock/Bundled Images.
Once in there, you can easily add them to the dock by rightclicking on the icon you want to replace and choose Dock Entry Properties. You will be able to change the icon on that pop up window.
...at least that is how it's done in the older version of Objectdock...not sure it this is still the case for the latest version.

You can't load icons in Objectdock. you need Icon Packager. If you want to load docks.
C/programs files(x86)/Stardock/Objectdock/Backgrounds
You will see specific folders just put them in the Background folder and they will work fine.

For zoomers and tabbed docks, just unzip them to c:/Programs/Stardock/Object Dock/Backrounds

For the record, I just loaded an .ico file (icon) into a dock via drag and drop, and also by right clicking an existing icon already on the dock and choosing to change the icon.
I'm thinking maybe Dave meant you can't load an icon package with Object Dock. You can load individual icons.
You can use .ico icons, or pngs, with Object Dock. Any version.

Drag and drop. That's what I do with the free version. Easiest way.

Correct you can't use icon package. But you can use .ico

But, if you want to use the icons in an Iconpackage, you can. Just change the name of the extension on the Iconpack to .zip, and then unzip it. You'll then have a ton of matching icons for your dock.

I had the same trouble. All my adobe icons are in one folder within bundled images folder. When I try to change the icon from default to my own ones, it to not be seen, some are there, some are not. if you use the "browse for an icon" option and manually go to that folder, all your icons are there. frustrating I know, but an easy workaround.

You downloaded a zip ... unzip it to Users/Public/Public Documents/Stardock/Icon Packager
