Monday, March 21, 2011 by starkers | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Hey folks, I saw this on TV earlier today and thought this singer to be absolutely amazing, with the ability to sing as a woman AND a man.

Sorry, but I do not know how to embed this video, but you can view it here

So, what do you think?

It's interesting what she can do. But that's nothing compared to what this amazing kid does with  his voice. Check him out, he's from Romanians got talent http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0gWWWDCYfE

Sounds like he got his balls stuck in a vice! Hey! Maybe those two should get together...he sings high he/she sings low...wouldn't that mess with your head! Ok...put the doobie down now!

Now c'mon Doc, stop thinking below the belt and get with the music, okay.

Though you're probably right. This person may or may not have a thingy to put aside, tuck away, whatever, but mightn't appreciate having somebody swing it aside, one way or the other.

Seriously, though, I can't see why this person being a transgender should make any difference, the talent is there and that is all that should matter.

starkers, my point is that the act was meant to shock/surprise, not to entertain through simple singing. That rather detracted. My thinking is well above the shoulder line. Nothing about the act entertained me, as opposed to some of the amazing singing I have seen replays of. Her voice was artificial. My laughing smiley had to do with the rather funny Brit irony, mate. Something like "But apart from that, how did you enjoy the play Mr. Lincoln?".

Okay, so you don't like it, but that's fine.... horses for different courses, right?

I like blues whereas you may not, and you might like classical jazz whereas I may not.

If we all like the same things it'd be a pretty boring old world, wouldn't it?

My thinking is well above the shoulder line.

I figured that, but you know me.... never pass up an opportunity for a gag.

I will agree that transgender is a non-issue. If the talent is there so be it.  Unfortunately, given the bias' in today's world, there are way too many people who will focus on the gender issue and screw the talent.

Ironic choice of words...

I like blues whereas you may not, and you might like classical jazz whereas I may not.

It's all good, mate. No twists in the knickas.
