how to fix? - FIXED

Sunday, March 13, 2011 by gmc2 | Discussion: WindowBlinds

I have, in the past, had to change some aspect of a submitted blind and both times the result was not as intended.

my blind. "orange cream" is identified as being done by stardock, how to I change this without losing numbers or comments or place in line?

I've noticed this on other skins as well. The return was that Admin is aware of the discrepancy.

Uvah, the mistake is mine, I forgot to change the default skin properties. if the mods can change that then that is great but if I have to do something on my end then...

Usually the last thing I do before releasing a blind is open the .uis and .sss files in a text editor (notepad, notepad++) and scroll down the list to make sure everything is named properly, set correctly, add an extra command if need be, etc. Seems command line changes there aren't as "iffy" as they are sometimes in SKS...especially the newer versions. That's just me though...

gmc2, save the changes in SKS, zip it and just update the skin from [here]

None of the (precious) skin-stats will be lost.
