Where is the control

Hi. Where would I find the control in SKS 7 for the font in Windows Explorer? Thanks

In SKS, Change Skin Fonts. It is usually the first font that is listed in the window that pops up. Click on the fonts until you see Background (Explorer) in the list on the right...the list that it is in is a long list...this is your main system font. Just remember that all the items in that list will have their font changed as well.

Somehow, this just does not sound right. Each of the items listed by Jazzymjr are changed individually in the Windows advanced settings so I would think that could be done in SKS. The Icon test inWindows controls the text in Explorer. Don't know if this helps.![]()

You and I are both right Frankief. In SKS, the font that controls the text on all buttons, icons, and Explorer, along with just about everything else, except for Title Bars, User Names in XP on the start menu, is the main system font that has been set by the skinner. For example, I use arial for my system font, and it shows up all over the place in the blind.
S J N, if you are trying to change a font in someone's else's skin, you could always contact the author of the blind, and ask him/her about changing the font.

I have WB set to always use the font of my choice so it does not use any skin supplied fonts. You can also set the size of the font by clicking on fonts in WB and then "change individual skin fonts" I used to change them in Skinstudio years ago but have not had to do that with the latest versions of WB. Hope this is helpful.![]()

As far as I know, you cannot change the font for just windows explorer. The font used for it is the main system font, that also is used for buttons, tollbars, menubars, etc. If you change that font, every thing else that also uses that font will be changed as well.
