need help on shell switching

Every once in a while, i like to use windows exploder 
, yes, i know it is the worst shell visibly but i still need the option of using it (for the other people that use this box, the not so computer-knowledge gifted, shall we say)
My delemma is so, i need a way, in dos (boot prompt preferably) to choose which shell i want to boot up, i have ideas, but they havn't been implemented yet, any other ideas would be appreciated, thanks

As Elwin says....the same applies with LiteSPAWN.....works on the fly......primarily between exploder and LiteSTEP, but can be configured for others....catches crashes too...

And Carapace does it too. And it's skinnable too. But I can't remember where the site went to.
