I don't know you'd have to check the XP site. I know it asks what language you will be speaking.

Cool! If it asks, then I'm sure it supports French. But what about accents? Does it asks you were you're from? Some words are pronounced way different in different areas of the world...

Yea i think Windows XP might support speech recognition but my system is already equiped with speech recognition so i dun think it makes a very big difference.

Actually no, typing is faster, the accuracy of these speech recognition programs is not 100% yet alone not even 80% each time u say a word u have to keep checking weather it got it correctly or not. Some times the program seems to have a mind of its own, starts writing its own stories that almost make sense, Weired Stuff. Oh yea we are talking about Microsoft here.

I have Microsoft Game Voice, sometimes i try to say a weapon and another one is choiced, and sometimes the prog makes a sound that means it dont understand a sh*t... no 100% accuracy but enough for a game, but use that kind of stuff to post doesnt sounds like to work.

I started using the speach recog features in Office about two weeks back, and at first it was touchy, but I continue to fine tune it to my speach patterns it's pretty good now. Way better than speach recog stuff that I've tried in the past.
