Thoughts Go Out To The People Of Christchurch

They're still rebuilding from a recent fatality-free earthquake and have today been hit by another quake measured at 6.3 and only 5k down.
This one is not fatality free.
News footage is horrifying.... multi-storey office buildings collapsed... ground liquefaction...
A friend is over there helping with the first rebuild - I think he's going to be there quite a bit longer.
My thoughts go out to all involved.

Difficult to look into those eyes and not tear up. When I saw that in the paper it tor my heart up. Rest in peace little Baxtor.

Thinking of Christchurchers a week on.... the sadness.... the heroes... the daunting times ahead.... and little Baxtor... born just after the last quake.... so sad...
I hope life becomes a little easier for them soon.... and any WCer's in Christchurch are safe.... I know buzz is on the North Island... and I hope any other of our kiwi members are safe too...
