Looking for ColorSchemes for Windows =)
Friday, August 10, 2001 by NoNeX | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I'm looking for colorschemes for Win - probably the smallest way to change the looks of your system - simply change fonts/colors...
Ok, this might not be anything interesting but I've been trying to find a good pack of usable colorcombinations for a while - I know they must be out there...
Thank you,
NoNeX

Use this nifty little application to change color schemes for precision like you would with the appearance tab on your Desktop Properties dialog.
This tool works in harmony with your existing theme editor to give amazing control over every facet of Windows' color scheme. It includes the ability to make your colors 3D, flat, or inverse 3D. You can even import schemes from existing desktop themes. It comes with preloaded color schemes to give you the general idea.

i don't know of any particular sites where you can get the actual .theme files, but you can download some nice plus themes from http://www.themedoctor.com/ ... there are probably better theme sites out there, but that's the one i used to always visit.
hope this post helps? - cyaz.
