Windowsblind skinning problems

Thursday, August 9, 2001 by on3ofak1nd | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I'm having a problem with windowsblind: what seems to happen (and is mostly noticeable with the IE navigation buttons and the menu buttons on any explorer window) is that the skins seem to flip upside down. For instance if there is a dark shadow on the bottom and a light shine on the top of the button, than the skin will invert and the shadow will be on the top and the light on the bottom. I guess you could say the skins invert. I can correct the glitch if I reload the skin, however it just tends to happen again after switching between windows a few times. As you can imagine its getting pretty annoying and I was wondering if there is a fix for this or if anyone has had a similar problem?
Thx in advance.

it's a problem with recent nvidia graphics drivers. nvidia is working on it

find your graphics card type:
right-click your desktop, then go to properties/settings. it's listed under the monitor pic.

find your video driver:
right-click your desktop, then go to properties/settings/advanced. then click either adapter or your card's own tab to see the version number/s.
