Windowsblind Vista theme installed on Windows XP

Wednesday, January 19, 2011 by Dday141 | Discussion: WindowBlinds

I made the mistake of putting a vista theme onto my Windows XP OS. It made the taskbar a little bigger and the icons are doubled in the status bar, and it also shows the day below the time. Heres a screenshot of what it looks like: http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/1373/screenshotcb.jpg

Is there anyway to reverse this and make it into the Windows XP taskbar? I try and change to other themes but they all have the same problem. Please help.

Do you have a link to the skin that's applied in your shot?

What happens if you grab the top edge of the taskbar and resize?

Try opening the WindowBlinds Configuration screen and 'Windows Classic' and apply.  That should set your screen to the default Windows skin.  You should be able to restart WindowBlinds and the select a non-Vista style theme and apply it.

You may need to reboot your computer after applying the Windows Classic theme before starting WIndowBlinds and selecting a non-Vista theme.

Check your settings in WB config for the taskbar size, is best set at let skin decide. Azenis 2, if downloaded from WC is an older XP only skin.
