And so it came to pass that in the year 2009 a Thumper from the Order Of The Black Dragon would go rogue. He would break his blood oath and thump a troll before Troll Thumping Day. And so, with evidence in hand, a squad of man and troll was dispatched to bring in the Beserker. And on the Eve of Thumping Day there was an Inquisition. And into the Inquisition there came forth a witness, Zubaz The Mad. His words would condemn the Beserker forever, And one would discover and keep the secret, Jack the Skinhit had been wrongly accused and sentenced. A year and a day would pass, the Beserker all but forgotten. Then, his sentence over, as quickly as he had vanished, he reappeared in the Great Hall of Tunga-Horth, now empty and cold, except for his hatred which had kept him warm. And another year would pass as he searched and plotted his revenge. His goal….to unleash Hell itself on all the Order’s. A beast…a Troll so fierce , it had been sent to Elysium for 10, 000 years. A Troll that all other Trolls feared and man would only whisper of in small groups by the light and safety of a warm fire. So long ago, that the beast was now just myth and lore, along with the tales of the One who could defeat it. The One from an Order so ancient, it’s name was all but forgotten. But the beasts name would never be forgotten and would soon write a new page for itself in the great Book of Thumping. |

A year ago, he reappeared in the Hall of Tunga-Horth, from Nod he came, and no one saw, so his coming went ignored. A year to plot and plan revenge, his anger kept him warm, now free, to bring it all to pass, and unleash the storm. Falsely accused and jailed was he, Jack the Skinhit swore, that each and every Thumper would rue the day that they were born. A single thought, a childhood tale, he clung to in his prison, became his lone obsession. With no other eyes to see, he scoured the Hall, and ransacked every book, 'til he found the Fairie Scrolls and sat to take a look. And as another year did pass, he gathered all that he would need, Tooth and root; wing and foot; and a sparrow he would bleed. On the eve of Thumping Day, up Wicklow Mountain he did climb, and in a fire he cast the lot and wove the spell to bind. He laughed and cursed and shook his fists at all who slept below and fell silent only when the sky began to snow. If all the tales he had ever heard in quatrains dim were true, a Troll there was no man could thump and his time was overdue Banished by the Fairie Queen, Jack the Skinhit would unlock, the doors that guard Elysium and unleash the Troll called Ragnarok!

Po, that is one thing I do enjoy. All kidding aside your story-telling I think is quite good. I'd love to read one by you. Ever think of doing short stories? You'd be quite good at it.

I have this story I started and stare at from time to time.....
Problem is I have to many ideas and no time. What I would give to chuck the day job and work from home.

Now this is something I'm interested in. Coincedently, the one and only game that I've continuously played since 2003 is a game called Ragnarok Online.
