I want to create my own desktop i need to now programing? Help

I have DesktopX On my computer.

Computer: Pentium III 800 Mhz 256 Ram
Windows Me

Try the Stardock site for tutorials. Mostly its just playing around with the program.
One of the best ways is to download a theme you like, that comes close to what you want, than with both DesktopX configuration and a paint program analyze it.
be ready to do a lot of drawing, if you want to create your own.

Being familiar with programming does help. The code in the code window reads like an ini file, but you don't need to use that right away if you don't want to.

You do need some sort of graphics program that can save files as bitmaps. Windows comes with a free one. There are other, better programs out there if you want more graphic effects.
