How do i install the windows media player skins?

Just copy them into the skins directory where WMP is installed, when you're in "full mode", there should be a button on the left for "skin chooser".

Also, if you download it as a zip, check to see what's in it, if it's a .wmz file, unzip it, if it's the actually skin bitmaps, scripts etc, then rename it to a .wmz.

hhmmm i dont seem to have a skins directory, should i just create one,

I downloaded it in .wmz format

You should have a skins subdirectory, make sure you're using Windows Media Player 7.0 or higher.

Yes, something tells me you are proabably trying to install skinz on Windows Media Player 5 or 6 that came with Windows 95/98/2000. Only Windows ME came with WMP7. So if you don't have Windows ME, then you have to download it: http://www.windowsmedia.com/download/download.asp
