Adding Icons to Object Dock

Sunday, December 21, 2003 by Wildharp | Discussion: Stardock Software

Sounds silly but I can't figure out how to add Icons. I can change the Icons in a theme but take the following: I am using GT2 skin. I have the the GT2 OB pak 1. How do you add the icon say for OB or Paint or SDCentral. I can change the Icons say in Cobalt Last theme that already exists, but am lost as to how to create my own. How for example would I add GT2 Email to a theme.

Click with right mouse button on an empty area of objectdock and then click Add-->New Shortcut.
Then click with right mouse button on the question mark and click Dock Item Properties.
You can set icon and shortcut for your program you want to add.
You can also choose if run the program in normal, minimized or maximized windows.

I am enjoying my new christmas toy. One more question. I have been using Last Cobalt. Why is it that the Wincustomize icon for that theme activates when I am submitting this post, or that theme icon comes in when I am configuring settings and so on. Something I am not doing?
