DX Object question

Saturday, July 28, 2001 by proxy | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Im using the XP Favorites object on my desktop, and whenever I reboot, the next time I use that object, the top rollovers move up and to the left. Without fail this happens every time, right now the rollover animations and Date object are so off balanced it's not even funny-any idea how to rectify this?

I am still learning about DX, so I may be wrong, but when you have everything in position, have you tried using "save theme" in the DX settings, which are in the box that comes up when you right click on the desktop? I'm not sure if this is the answer, but it's worth a try. And I'm sure an expert will be along shortly to help you out if I am wrong.

nope, i saved my theme just the way i like it, once i reboot or for that matter re-load my theme, the object mis aligns itself.

I don't have that specific object, but,
if an objects 'true' size, including any transparent parts, is off the screen edge, DX will reposition it to not be off of the screen edge. maybe, i dunno

Ever you make any change, change your teme BEFORE.
Click on the properties of the object. In the relation icon, put the movement are "locked". If you change many times of screen resolution, adjust the positioon as rescale (this you need to make at all objects)
