Where has skinned.org gone?
Have I missed something in my absence or is it temporarily down?

You've missed lots of stuff. Skinned.org was hosted by DeskMod and as you might know, DeskMod died. Hydrasoft was planning on teaming up with skinned.org to make it continue and such, but I haven't seen anything yet (and it's been months now).

hehe, BoXXi: nice work! ... but answer me this, why is that format so widely used, sure i kinda use it myself but i keep seeing it everywhere... like here at WC and at LOS and a few other places like deviantart... ?

(indeed, it seems to be the most robust layout, so maybe i've answered my own question).
