How do you install icons?

Im using Windows Me, Windows Blinds 2.2 with the macWINtoch skin and i want to install the icons..how do i do it?
Whats the best way?
Do I have to over write files?
Do I have to save the old ones before installation?
Do I ask too many unessesary questions that when you answer one, all of them would be answered????

Use the program called icon packager to change the icons on your system.
