Chat in Impulse?
Does anyone use it anymore?

Since the release of Impulse I have tried on a few occasions to drop in to chat...but for the life of me it doesn't seem to work as good as it did in Stardock Central. When I used SDC it was easy to get in and chat...but with Impulse I can't tell half the time if it's connected or not...even though it says it is. And most of the time I don't see anyone listed as being there. I've poked around with it from time to time...but it just doesn't seem to work right. Is there a trick to this now or what?

Yeah....that doesn't fix the problem. Impulse is installed ok....it's something to do with the chat that isn't working right. Wish it was that easy. And uninstalling and reinstalling things over and over in itself is not a good thing.

Sorry, bud. That's what Rosco suggested...about the Fences update. Not specifically your problem. If you'd like, I can try to get feedback for you in the IRC?

sounds like a permanent ban...... 
try mIRC or HydraIRC...the latter is free and does a great job.

I personally use the IRC client for FireFox, "Chatzilla". a simple yet decent IRC toy.

Pssst....Shirley....get another "Special" copy of Impulse ready for him. Looks like he's catching on!
Check your mail, bud. That's Rosco's fix for the problem I had earlier. It'll clean out your Impulse and then reinstall using the second link.
